Spring Meetups Everywhere 2024

ACX has announced the semi-annual meetups everywhere for this spring and it’s coming up. There are meetups in:

• Washington, DC on April the 27th starting at 3:00 PM (at a new location, Hook Hall, downtown).

• Woodbridge, VA on April 13th starting at 1:00 PM (at Chinn Park Library).

• Baltimore, MD on May the 5th starting at 7:00 PM (on the UMBC campus).

Dedicated Discussion Meetup on Immortality, Herndon April 20

Also, there is another discussion meetup on April 20th. The question to be discussed is "If it is possible, should humans develop clinical immortality?"

Clinical immortality is a situation where a person or people are immune to health issues. They won't die from diseases, conditions, aging, or anything else potentially treatable in a clinic. People can still die accidentally or purposefully. Assuming that this is possible to achieve, would it be a good thing or bad thing for individual people and for humanity?

The discussion will happen from approximately 7:30 pm until 9:00 pm. You can arrive as early as 6:30 PM and there will be an informal social before and after the dedicated discussion. Some snacks and refreshments will be provided; feel free to bring your own.

This will take place at 205 Meeting House Station Square #403, Herndon, Virginia 20170. There is a parking lot for the building, nearby street parking, and rides from the Herndon metro station can be arranged. Call or Text Ben at 240-391-6021 to gain entry to the building.
