Reminder DC ACX Meetups Everywhere 2023 - Sept 9th @ Froggy Bottom Pub

Remember Washington DC’s ACX meetups everywhere is this Saturday, September 9th, downtown at Froggy Bottom Pub on K streett (2021 K Street NW, Washington, D.C. 20006). The event starts at 6:00 PM and goes for several hours.

This year we have special guest Robin Hanson and possibly other luminaries from the Rationalist Community.

We've rented out the restaurant side for the night, finger food and soft drinks will be provided. Alcohol will be available for purchase if desired, but no purchases are required. Note that if you do order from the bar, an automatic gratuity will be included.

Andrew Willsen ([email protected]) who is starting a podcast Dangerous Futures Club will be recording that night. He will be outside (as to not pick up other conversations) and no participation is necessary but if you are willing to have your conversation shared with others you are welcome to take part. Fake names are okay and he will honor any requests for deletion.

Transportation: The nearest Metro stations are Farragut West and Farragut North. There is metered street parking on nearby blocks and a $15/night parking garage next door to the pub.
