ACX Board Games This Sunday, Cryptocurrency Regulation Discussion Next Saturday

This is a short reminder that there are several upcoming ACX DC events in the coming days:

• We’re having Board Game Day in Crystal City, VA this Sunday, 9/24, starting at Noon. See this prior post or the facebook event for details.

  • Todd has posted in the facebook event to discuss some games he’s bringing, feel free to join in.

• Baltimore Lesswrong’s ACX Everywhere event is at UMBC that same day, Sunday 9/24 at 7PM. See this LW post for details.

  • I intend to go, and will be driving from Arlington. Reach out if you’d like a ride, you can contact me directly or just reply to this email.

• Next weekend, Saturday 9/30, Ben Schwab is hosting a focused topic discussion on Cryptocurrency Regulation at his condo in Herndon, VA. See this prior post or the facebook event for details.

Further, we’re starting to schedule October Events. Kayla Gamin will have a social meetup at her house in Rockville on Saturday, October 21st. There’s a facebook event already, with more details to come in a future email. We’re also looking at either Sunday 10/8 or 10/15 for October’s Board Game Day. If you have a strong preference between those dates, or have questions about anything above, simply respond to this email.

Finally, Andrew Willsen's first podcast from our Meetups Everywhere event has now posted, focused on the discussion with Robin Hanson.
